Tika masala with pita bread
This is one of my "Home alone" favorites, when we lived inWashington DC it was the working girls lunch hide away to go to a small little Indian restaurant
For Marinade:
- 1 cup plain yogurt {I used Greek}
- 3 tablespoons Ginger-Garlic Paste, recipe follows
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Tika masala
- 3 minute steaks,cut into large bite sized chunks
For Sauce:
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 Onion
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 Tika masala seasoning
- 2 HEAPING teaspoons paprika
- 1 cans diced tomatoes
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
Naan Bread, Tomatoes and creme fraiche for serving
